A collection of medical devices used throughout Alita: Battle Angel. Many of these are used to monitor the characters while they are being operated on. This occurs frequently throughout the movie as cyberisation is a common theme of the movie.
Here an assistant with a mechanical hand is monitoring the patients life signs. The screen is showing vital stats of the patient and the primary image is showing the current state of the brain
A handheld scanner is smaller version of the above diagnostic device. The character is scanned and the device indicates that their brain is still alive and functioning.
In the background we see multiple screens showing varied diagnostics. Later we are shown some close-ups of the screens.
Here the character on the right is showing detailed information about the brain of the left character. Various stats are shown alongside a central image of the brain.
Then the screen is changed to show information about the (offscreen) characters heart. Again various graphs, stats, and code is displayed on the screen to indicate the information it is processing.
Later we are shown a different kind of display showing the brain area of another person. Here they have identified that there is a chip inserted in the third characters brain that is being used to control them at times. The view is titled “Cybercore Cranium View RF[5]”.
Again the monitors are used to summarize the vital signs of the patient.
After an operation the vital signs of the patient is again monitored. Here they are identifying that the cybernetic body is adapting to its new owner.
